The Canadian company Electra meccanica announced the launch of a newly designed single person three wheel electric vehicle solo. This car is designed for a single person to work efficiently. The body has four colors. Electra meccanica said that in the design, they considered how to improve the efficiency of electric vehicles. The approach is to delete redundant seats and reduce weight and volume. At the same time, they adopt a triangular body design, with a wide head and a width of 1.2 meters, and then gradually reduce the width. At the end, the width is only 0.5 meters.

  The benefit of reducing weight and volume is that the car needs 82 horsepower and 140 pounds of torque. It takes only 8 seconds to accelerate from 0 - to 62 miles (100 km / h), and the top speed on the road can reach 75 miles per hour (120 km / h). Solo uses an 8.64 kwh lithium-ion battery and an electric motor at the rear of the body. It can be charged in three to six hours and can travel 120 kilometers.
