Recently, the reporter saw on the streets of Nanchong, Sichuan, duty personnel wearing "blue waistcoats" standing by the sidewalk for civilized traffic duty.

  The reporter learned that in recent days, the first brigade directly under Nanchong traffic police detachment has carried out "blue vest" action in the main urban area for minor violations such as tricycles running red lights and reverse driving. After the owners of illegal tricycles were checked and corrected on the scene, the traffic police first educated them, then asked them to wear blue waistcoats and be on duty on the scene for 30 minutes to civilly persuade other citizens and vehicles with illegal acts.

  On the morning of the 4th, the first brigade directly under the central government organized the police force to carry out rectification actions in daximen. After a while, two tricycles drove in the opposite direction. When they met the traffic police, the tricycle owner immediately turned around and left. The police on duty quickly followed up and stopped them. After criticizing and educating them, the traffic police asked them to wear special "blue waistcoats" and let them be civilized counsellors for half an hour to maintain traffic order.

  The police on duty told reporters that they hope to make citizens aware of the importance of civilized travel through this way of identity transformation, and remind the majority of traffic participants to consciously abide by road traffic laws and regulations.
